First Aid for Pets – What to include in the kit?

You never know when your curious pup can sniff their way to a bee sting. Or your playful kitty decides to gulp down something toxic. These unpredictable incidents will need you to act swiftly. And that’s where a comprehensive first aid kit for pets will help.

Medicines for First Aid Kit

1. Antacids

Like you, even your pet’s tummy can face acid imbalance leading to acidity.

Symptoms – 

  • Regurgitation (bringing back swallowed food in the mouth)
  • Excessive drooling
  • Lack of appetite
  • Vomiting bile (yellow/pale white color, watery consistency)

2. Anti-Diarrheal Medication

  • Half the body weight (10 kg = 5 ml)

  • 2 hours before or after food

Your pet needs to be shielded against pesky tapeworms too.

  • Licking the anus area
  • Worms visible in poop

  • Adult Dogs (above 9 months) – One tablet per 10kg body weight

4. Dehydration 

Extreme heat or temperatures can lead to water loss & dehydration.

  • Hard poop (may or may not with blood)

  • Extreme panting

6. Vomiting Medicines –
