Try This Homemade Dosa for Dogs

We see you drooling over that dosa you just ordered.

We also see your furry buddy drooling over it.

Before you feed it to them, know that it may contain onions & garlic which are not the safest ingredients for your dog.

Instead, serve them this homemade dosa for dogs instead!

Ingredients 

– 120 grams of whole wheat or oat flour (as per your dog’s allergies & taste)

– 120 grams of plain yogurt (unsweetened and non-fat)

– 30 grams of finely grated carrots (rich in vitamins and fiber)

– 30 grams of finely chopped spinach (packed with vitamins and minerals)

– 30 grams of mashed sweet potatoes (a great source of complex carbohydrates)

– 1 gram or 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric (anti-inflammatory properties)

– 15 grams of coconut oil (healthy fats for skin and coat)

– Water (as needed)

Nutritional Quantity (Approximate)

– Calories per dosa: ~150 kcal

– Protein: ~5g

– Carbohydrates: ~30g

– Dietary Fiber: ~4g

– Healthy Fats: ~2g

– Vitamins and Minerals: Vitamins A, C, K, potassium, beta-carotene, and more.

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat/oat flour, yogurt, and turmeric.

2. Gradually add water and mix until you achieve a batter with a consistency similar to pancake batter. The batter should be smooth and lump-free.

3. Now boil the grated carrots, chopped spinach, and sweet potatoes & mash them together to create a mix.

4. Heat a non-stick pan or dosa tava over medium heat. Lightly grease it with coconut oil.

5. Pour a small ladleful of the batter onto the pan and gently spread it to form a thin dosa. Cook until the edges start to lift and the bottom turns golden brown.

6. Flip the dosa and cook the other side until golden brown as well.

7. Once cooked, transfer the dosa to a plate and add the veggies mix to it.

8. Let it cool before cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
